My name is Zachary Roberts. I've recently graduated from Houghton College as an Applied Design major and currently living in Syracuse, New York. Graphic Design is what gets me up in the morning.
I love photography and video on top of design and have had the opportunity to use these skills in a number of internships. I'm now looking for a new opportunity to fully begin my career.

This project was started as an illustration for an in-process fiction novel and grew into a series of three book cover designs. The novels are aimed at young adults as suspenseful fantasy stories that involve individuals unfortunate enough to come across the world's most fearsome monsters. The designs went through the steps of modeled photograph, Illustrator concepts, and final painted version. The main image was painted as well as the text and then scanned to be converted to digital mockups.
